π A Good Food Good Feels free product
This is free, and always will be. If it ever helps your pet β or could help someone else's β the kindest things you can do are pass it on to another pet owner, or chip in (most folks give $3β$10) to help keep it free for everyone. Donations are never required and unlock nothing. Payment is handled securely by Stripe β we never see your card.
π§ͺ Early access β your feedback shapes this
Pet Monitoring is brand new and being tested in the open. It's free, and we'd genuinely like to know what's confusing, what's missing, and whether the warnings feel right. Are you a veterinarian or vet tech? We especially want your eyes on the "call your vet now" redβflag guidance β your review helps keep pets safe.
What to Watch
For each area you selected: what it means, and the signs that something may be off.
Camera Guide
Use any camera you already have (phone, baby monitor, pet/security cam). You review the footage β nothing is uploaded anywhere.
General tips
- Good light helps. Avoid pointing the camera straight at a bright window.
- Keep the timestamp on so you can match events to times of day.
- Capture your pet from the side for movement, and headβon at bowls/litter for habits.
- Record short clips at the same times daily so days are comparable.
- Most phones and cams let you save a clip to show your vet β keep anything concerning.
Daily Log
A quick daily check. Over time this reveals trends β and flags anything that looks urgent.
History
β€οΈ Vitals
Resting and sleeping breathing rate is the single home measurement vets rely on most. A rate that trends upward over days can be an early warning of heart or lung trouble β often before a pet looks sick at all. Measure when your pet is calm or asleep, not after play.
Count the resting breaths
Watch your pet's chest while they rest. One breath = the chest rising and falling once. Tap the button on each breath for 30 seconds β this tool doubles it to breaths per minute.
Already counted it yourself?
Breathing-rate trend
π Today's measurements
Quick daily numbers. Each one trends over time and lands in your vet report. Fill in what you can β blanks are fine.

Weight (optional)
Logging weight now and then reveals slow gains or losses that are easy to miss day to day β a real early signal vets look for.
π¨ Red Flags β Call Your Vet Now
If you see any of these, contact your vet or the nearest emergency clinic immediately. Don't wait to log it. These lists are general guidance, not a full list β when in doubt, call.
VetβReady Report
A clean summary of what you've observed β print it or save as PDF and bring it to your appointment.
Click "Build report" to generate a summary from your pet's profile and log history.
π€ AI Day Review
Connect your own AI account, load a clip from your camera, and get a vetβaware summary of your pet's day. Your key and footage go straight from this device to the AI β we never see them, and you pay only your own AI provider. An aid, not a diagnosis β always confirm concerns with your vet.
Start here β read this first (about 1 minute)
This page is optional. Everything else in Pet Monitoring β the checklists, daily log, vitals, and vet report β works with no account and no setup. Use the AI Day Review only when you want an AI "second opinion" on a video clip from your camera.
To use it, you set up your own AI account once (you pay the AI provider directly β usually a few cents to about $1 per review). Three steps:
- Get your key. Tap Get a key β, make a free Anthropic account, add a little credit, then copy the key (it starts with
sk-ant-). - Paste it into the key box in step 1 below and tap Save key. It stays on your device β we never see it.
- Load a clip from your camera (step 2), then tap Review my pet's day (step 3).
Not sure how to get a clip off your camera? The Setup helper at the bottom walks you through it for your exact brand β no need to figure it out alone.
1 Β· Connect your AI
For a real shot at catching health issues, Opus is the default. Typical cost runs from a few cents (Haiku) to about $1 (Opus) per day analyzed, billed to your own account β shown before each run.
2 Β· Load today's clip(s)
Export one or more clips and load them together β you can select several at once. A few short clips from across the day (morning, midday, evening, near the food bowl / litter box) give a far better read than one. Not sure how? Use the Setup helper below.
π· Getting footage from your camera
Tell us your device, then whether you already have a camera. If you do, pick your brand for exact steps β a fast "something's wrong right now" path and an easy weekly check. If not, we'll help you choose one. For your exact model, the Ask Claude button hands off to the live helper below (uses your key).
