- Visit local shelters in person every day or two. Descriptions over the phone get missed.
- Post your share image on Nextdoor, your town’s lost & found pet groups, and free sites like Petco Love Lost and PawBoost.
- Call your pet’s microchip company to mark them lost and confirm your phone number is current.
- Put flyers at eye level on busy corners, vet offices, pet stores and mailbox banks (where allowed).
- Leave something that smells like home (worn clothing, their bedding) by your door.
- Don’t chase a scared pet. Sit down, look away and let them come to you.
